Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Part-Time Program Support role within the Dubuque Mission Office. You will train, supervise, advise, and monitor participants as outlined in their plans, and coordinate services to help them achieve goals.

You will communicate with participants and internal/external customers, provide resources, drive to appointments, maintain documentation, and uphold Goodwill’s values while supporting program success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid and Medication Management within 6 months of starting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to instruct persons with disabilities.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance.
• Positive attitude and loyalty to the agency’s mission and policies.
• Ability to handle confidential information and use good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assists program participants with developing strategies and following through on responsibilities.
• Encourages participants to achieve goals by aligning programming with preferences and needs.
• Provides information about community resources and helps self-advocacy.
• Drives participants to and from appointments, events, stores, and activities.
• Maintains accurate documentation and supports coordination of resources.
• Submits documentation in a timely manner and maintains records.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed and complies with reporting requirements.
• Maintains professional relationships with participants, families, coworkers, and agencies.
• Models Goodwill’s IMPACT values in daily work.
