Carroll Lutheran Village, Inc. in Westminster, MD is seeking a Part-Time Dining Services Associate - Clinical to join our care-focused community.

The role supports residents in the Health Care Center with meal service and dining experiences, working 32 hours per pay period with 4:00pm–8:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm shifts and every other weekend. Responsibilities include food preparation, service, and ensuring dietary guidelines, sanitation standards, and resident safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or in progress.
• At least 1 year experience in hospital, restaurant, or continuing care retirement community (CCRC) preferred.
• Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Focus on customer service, taking orders, serving food, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards.
• Prepare meals reading recipes, production sheets, and dietary needs; estimate food quantities.
• Operate kitchen equipment to prepare ingredients and cook.
• Prepare therapeutic diets and measure liquid/nutrient restrictions as required.
• Assist with meal services including tray line, dining rooms, and in-room delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of workstations and service areas.
• Aid residents with menu selections ensuring dietary compliance and preferences.
• Communicate dietary changes and updates promptly; answer phones and relay messages accurately.
