Job summary

Covenant Living at the Samarkand in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Part-Time Dining Server to provide prompt, courteous service to residents and guests during meals. Responsibilities include serving, bussing, light prep, and event support in the Dining Room and Bistro with adherence to sanitation standards.

Required is a high school diploma and a valid Food Handler’s Permit; ServSafe training is a plus. Prior food service experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• Servsafe training is beneficial.
• About 1 year of food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve, buss and sanitize in dining room, breakfast to dinner.
• Assist in food prep and salad/dessert preparation for service.
• Set up meetings or events with snacks, coffee and beverages.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and safety practices, maintain cleanliness.
