Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous service in our dining rooms for residents, guests, and staff. The role includes serving, bussing, light prep, and assisting with special events.

Required is a high school diploma and a current Food Handler’s Permit; ServSafe training is a plus. Prior food service experience is preferred. This is an on-site role within our senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• Training in ServSafe is beneficial.
• Experience: 1 year of food service preferred (serving/waiting tables, cleaning, sanitation).

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables.
• Serves Breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro.
• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Prepare salad bar items for lunch.
• Fill salad bar with ice and set for service, including gathering plates and bowls for salad bar and soup kettles.
• Prepare and stage desserts.
• Light food prep for special events.
• Assist in setting up meetings or other events, including delivery of snacks, coffee, tea.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and state/federal regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of prep items and work area.
• Open/Close dining rooms as needed.
