Job summary

Covenant Living of Golden Valley is seeking a Dining Server for part-time shifts in the dining room and Bistro. You will provide prompt, courteous service to residents and guests during meals, assist with serving, bussing, and light food prep as directed.

The role requires a high school diploma, a current Food Handler’s Permit, and at least one year of food service experience. You’ll work under sanitation guidelines, maintain a clean work area, and interact with residents in a caring,

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Must be cordial and congenial with residents.
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, organized, and have good follow through.
• Must be able to work with limited direct supervision.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro.
• Assist in food preparation and hospitality duties, including serving food and bussing tables.
• Open/Close dining rooms and set up for meetings or events, including snacks and beverages.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and safety protocols; maintain cleanliness of prep items and dining areas.
• Assist in setting up for meetings or other events, including delivery of snacks, coffee, and tea.
