Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Part-Time Server to help create an exceptional dining experience for residents in our community restaurant. You will direct residents, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist with drink selection in a friendly, customer-focused atmosphere.

You will handle resident orders using a modern POS system and complete opening/closing dining room duties to ensure smooth service. Prior server experience and a Food Handler’s Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
• If under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization.
• Server must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• Strong customer service presentation.

Responsibilities

• As a Server, you will direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection
• Communicate specific resident orders, utilizing our state-of-the-art point of sale system
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community
