Distinctive Living in Naples is hiring a Part-Time Cook to support the Restaurant and Hospitality Department. The role ensures quality meals, adherence to special diets, and excellent service during dining hours.

You will work under the Director of Restaurant and Hospitality, maintain food safety, help with menu compliance, and contribute to a positive resident experience in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality with planning, directing, controlling, communicating, and coaching in the Food Service Department.
• Follows the Menu Program that meets nutritional requirements, as directed by the Director, Food Service.
• Responds to resident likes and dislikes maintaining high resident satisfaction.
• Maintains food temperatures and time controls during storage, production, and serving according to required food safety standards.
• Ensures that staff provides a service to maintain good resident experiences during meal times.
• Provides input and support to the Director, Restaurant and Hospitality on new hires and training staff in the dietary department.
• Maintains a clean kitchen and all equipment, walls, dry storage, cold storage cooking, and preparation surfaces.
• Ensures safety standards and compliant handling of hazardous conditions.
• Fosters teamwork, takes initiative, and supports others beyond job responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
