Qualifications

• Experience in senior living or similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of production methods, portion control, and food safety/handling required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail in presentation and plating.
• Availability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad bar, and service line.
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure proper prep, portions, taste, and presentation.
• Taste and check food quality and adherence to culinary standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food prep and service areas.
• Support a safe, sanitary kitchen environment and manage temperature logs and storage.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create an exceptional dining experience.
