Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team, serving Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, LA and Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, LA. This onsite role schedules 8–12 hours weekly and focuses on assessing nutritional needs, intervening to support status, and improving residents’ quality of life.

Requires a nutrition degree (Bachelor’s and Master’s), CDR exam eligibility, CE hours every five years, and state licensure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Nice-to-have: experience in healthcare or long-term care.

Aufgaben

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participating in development and review of continuous quality improvement programs.
