Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support nutrition services at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, LA and Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, LA. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help maintain nutritional status aligned with patient goals.

The role requires a degree in nutrition, a valid license or certification, and ongoing continuing education. Schedule is 8–12 hours per week, onsite, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and revising continuous quality improvement programs.
