Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team near West Monroe, LA. In this role, you will assess nutritional needs, propose interventions, and support residents to improve their nutritional status while respecting patient goals.

The position totals 8–12 hours per week and will involve working at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro and Richardson Medical Center in Rayville.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
