Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro and Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, LA. The role is scheduled for 8–12 hours per week onsite, focusing on nutritional assessment and interventions to maintain or improve patients’ nutritional status.

You will work with the healthcare team, follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and contribute to education, policy setup, and quality improvement within the dining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets Academy requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
