Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in our facility. The role involves setting up meal trays, assisting with serving, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.

The ideal candidate will learn routines quickly, read recipes and procedures, and work collaboratively with the dietary supervisor and Cook to ensure sanitary, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to learn food service routines quickly.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain dishwashing areas.
• Check and record water temperatures and chlorine levels.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, refrigerators, and floors.
• Carry out trash disposal and store groceries safely.
• Participate in dietary staff training and orientation.
