Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support Nutrition Services. Under supervision, you will prepare patient meals, ensure food safety, and stock trayline and nourishment areas in a hospital setting.

The role emphasizes accurate meal preparation, adherence to diet orders, and maintaining sanitation across patient services. Qualified candidates may have ServSafe certification and prior foodservice experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent, preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Foodservice experience, or equivalent nutrition preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares all food items and patient meal trays accurately based on diet order, approved recipes and patient meal tickets
• Uses proper techniques to ensure food safety. Techniques include, but not limited to: hand hygiene, glove use, temperature monitoring/control, cleaning and sanitizing
• Follows procedures for stocking trayline, prep areas and nourishment rooms.
