Job summary

StoryPoint Novi is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support residents with meals, maintain clean kitchen areas, and plate food according to dietary guidelines. The role offers a rewarding environment with opportunities for advancement.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to work independently, and strong communication. Prior food service experience is preferred. Shift is 4pm–8pm and duties include assisting kitchen staff and ensuring meals are served properly.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents.
• Some food service experience is required.
• Strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and follow supervisor directions.
• Ensure enough food is prepped and available for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
