StoryPoint Rockford is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service for residents. This part-time role covers mornings and evenings, with shifts from 8am–2pm and 4pm–8pm.

You will assist with food preparation, plating to dietary guidelines, and maintaining clean, sanitary kitchen areas. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, and some food service experience.

Competenze

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school is required.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Great communication skills are required.

Mansioni

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate with supervisor about shortages or outages.
• Ensure food is stored and kept at proper temperatures and sanitation is maintained.
• Maintain daily logs, postings and documentation for meal services.
