Job summary

Venture-Community-Service is seeking a Developmental Specialist (Part Time) in Dudley, MA for the Day Services program. The role involves implementing Day Habilitation Service Plan objectives, documenting progress, and supporting individuals’ independence.

Pay is $19.00 per hour with paid training and a $500 sign-on bonus. Weekend and holiday days off are noted; the position emphasizes dignity, safety, and community participation.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a training program for the developmentally disabled preferred.
• Daily use of a car on site preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement Day Habilitation Service Plan objectives and document progress.
• Assist individuals to identify and participate in meaningful activities to increase independence.
• Maintain confidentiality and document daily DHSP progress and quarterly notes.
• Provide or maintain community-based habilitation experiences and ensure health and safety.
