Open Sky Community Services in Massachusetts seeks a Development Specialist to design, implement and oversee Day Habilitation Service Plans and routines for adults with developmental disabilities. The role focuses on individualized planning, daily activities, and community integration.

You will coordinate schedules, train staff, provide case management, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize health, safety, and independence for participants.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history; Drug testing required.

Mansioni

• Coordinate daily activity schedules.
• Foster and develop positive community relationships.
• Train staff in the DHSP process, reporting requirements, and implementation of strategies.
• Provide case management as assigned and participate in interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with ancillary services, community members, other service providers and significant others.
