Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Developmental Adapted Physical Education Teacher in Fridley, MN for the 2026-2027 school year. This in-person, part-time role (20 hours per week) requires a DAPE license and offers competitive pay.

You will develop IEP-aligned adaptive physical education goals, modify activities, collaborate with teachers and families, monitor progress, and support students’ physical development in inclusive settings.

Qualifications

• DAPE license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4) required.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Education or related field.
• Previous classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEP-aligned adaptive physical education goals.
• Plan and teach modified activities to improve motor skills and fitness.
• Adapt equipment and instruction for safe participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support inclusion.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction to meet students' goals.
