Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Developmental Adapted Physical Education Teacher in the Brooklyn Park, MN area for the 2026-2027 school year. In-person, 0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week, for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Education or related field.
• Active Minnesota DAPE license (Tier 3 or 4).
• Experience in classroom setting preferred.
• 3 references/letters of recommendation required.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEP-aligned DAPE goals.
• Plan and teach modified physical activities to improve motor skills and fitness.
• Adapt equipment and instruction for safe participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support inclusion.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes.

Education
