Viera Builders, Inc. seeks an entry-level interior design receptionist to support a fast-paced Design Studio. This part-time, hourly role focuses on front desk duties, greeting buyers, and maintaining studio presentation.

You will assist with design previews, manage samples inventory, coordinate with design coordinators, and help with administrative tasks. Availability on Saturdays 8:30 am–5:00 pm and Mondays 10:30 am–7:00 pm is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least 1 year in design or related industry experience.
• New home construction experience preferred.
• Prior receptionist experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; friendly, professional demeanor; MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial front desk customer service, greet buyers, answer phones, and manage signage for buyers.
• Oversee PowerPoint prep for Pre-Construction Meetings and maintain floor samples.
• Lead Design Studio tours, answer questions, and ensure a professional customer experience during previews.
• Open/close Design Studio and keep lobby and conference room tidy; support administrative duties as assigned.
• Assist Design Coordinators, Design Lead, and Director of Design as needed.

Job description

Viera Builders, Inc. has an opening for an entry level part-time*, hourly paid Interior Design Receptionist working in a fast paced, professional environment. This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Design Studio lobby appearance, inventory of Design Studio samples, walk-in traffic, and supporting the Design Coordinators, Design Lead and Director of Design.
*Employee must be available during the work hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdayand10:30 amto 7:00 pmon Monday for Design Preview.

Duties include:

• Provide initial customer service at the front desk by answering phones, greeting buyersand offering refreshments. Responsible for creating the sign to display buyers' information.
  
• Manages the PowerPoint preparation process for Pre-Construction Meetings, oversees the appearance and organization of the Design Studio sales floor, and coordinates the replacement and updating of discontinued or revised display products and samples.
• Manages the Design Preview process by conducting Design Studio tours, educating buyers on available design options, responding to questions with accurate information, and providing a professional and exceptional customer experience throughout the preview.
  
• Responsible for opening and closing the Design Studio andmaintaining tidiness in the design studio to include thelobby and conference room.
  
• Assist the Design Coordinators, Design Lead and Director of Design with other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A High School diplomaand a minimum of one or more years in design or industry related experience. Experience in new home construction preferred. Prior office receptionist experience preferred. Excellent organizational and administrative skills; strongcustomer service and communication skills (written and verbal); friendly and professional demeanor; experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
