Viera Builders, Inc. is seeking an entry-level, part-time Interior Design Receptionist to join the Design Studio team in a fast-paced professional environment.

You will maintain lobby appearance, manage sample inventory, welcome walk-in traffic, and support the Design Coordinators, Lead, and Director of Design. This role requires availability on Saturdays and Mondays during Design Preview hours and involves greeting buyers, coordinating tours, and ensuring a professional customer experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1+ year in design or related experience.
• Experience in new home construction preferred.
• Prior receptionist experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide first contact at front desk, answer phones, greet buyers, and display buyers' information.
• Oversee PowerPoint prep for Pre-Construction Meetings and maintain Design Studio display samples.
• Conduct Design Studio tours during Design Preview and provide accurate information to buyers.
• Open/close the Design Studio and maintain tidiness of lobby and conference room.
• Assist Design Coordinators, Design Lead, and Director of Design with administrative tasks.

Job description

Viera Builders, Inc. has an opening for an entry level part-time*, hourly paid Interior Design Receptionist working in a fast paced, professional environment. This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Design Studio lobby appearance, inventory of Design Studio samples, walk-in traffic, and supporting the Design Coordinators, Design Lead and Director of Design.

*Employee must be available during the work hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdayand10:30 amto 7:00 pmon Monday for Design Preview.

Duties include:

• Provide initial customer service at the front desk by answering phones, greeting buyersand offering refreshments. Responsible for creating the sign to display buyers' information.
• Manages the PowerPoint preparation process for Pre-Construction Meetings, oversees the appearance and organization of the Design Studio sales floor, and coordinates the replacement and updating of discontinued or revised display products and samples.
• Manages the Design Preview process by conducting Design Studio tours, educating buyers on available design options, responding to questions with accurate information, and providing a professional and exceptional customer experience throughout the preview.
• Responsible for opening and closing the Design Studio andmaintaining tidiness in the design studio to include thelobby and conference room.
• Assist the Design Coordinators, Design Lead and Director of Design with other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A High School diplomaand a minimum of one or more years in design or industry related experience. Experience in new home construction preferred. Prior office receptionist experience preferred. Excellent organizational and administrative skills; strongcustomer service and communication skills (written and verbal); friendly and professional demeanor; experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
