Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a Part-time General Dentist to join a team delivering comprehensive care. Expect 2-3 days per week with options for 8 AM-5 PM or 10 AM-7 PM shifts.

The role offers a daily guarantee or a percentage of collections up to 36%, with opportunities for in-office specialty support and ongoing CE involvement. Responsibilities include patient examinations, treatment planning, restorative and preventive care, and coordination of care within a multi-specialty

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education
