Job summary

42North Dental in New Jersey is hiring a part-time dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. A strong patient flow and opportunities for continuing education are offered.

Schedule includes two Saturdays per month 7AM-12PM with benefits for eligible full-time hours. The role requires a DMD or DDS, a current license to practice dentistry, Hep B vaccination documentation,

Qualifications

• Professional requirements include a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license in good standing is required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B must be documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof is required.
• BLS/CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
