Job summary

42 North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Dentist to join our team. The role encompasses the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Schedule is part-time: Labor Day - Memorial Day, two Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM. We offer health insurance with optional HSA, exclusive discounts, dental/vision coverage, a 401K plan, CE

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education
