Job summary

42North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam through delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

A strong patient flow supports ongoing opportunities for growth. The role requires DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program, current state license, Hep B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality of care and professional ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and ongoing education.
