Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Columbia, SC, seeks a part-time delivery driver to load, transport and deliver goods in a 20-24' box truck. The role focuses on safe, punctual service and customer satisfaction.

Schedule is three days per week (Mon–Wed, up to 29.5 hours). CDL is not required; DOT rules are followed. On‑the‑job training is provided and wage increases may occur after performance reviews.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be detail-oriented, energetic and motivated.
• Must obtain license/endorsement to drive a 20-24' box truck; CDL not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of GPS usage for routing and deliveries.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack or forklift.

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.

Part-Time Delivery Driver: Columbia, SC

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.


• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.


• Following DOT rules and regulations.


• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.


• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.


• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

• 3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours per week. (Mon, Tues, Wed)


• Possibility of additional hours when filling in for other drivers.


• No overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)


• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).


• Understanding of how to use a GPS.


• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $20.00/hour.
