Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Auburn, MA is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our nationwide team. You will load, deliver, and service customers with a focus on safety and reliability, while adhering to DOT rules and maintaining a professional vehicle and appearance.

The role offers a 2-3 day workweek (up to 29.5 hours) with no weekends or overnight shifts, plus on‑the‑job training and opportunities for wage increases after performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must obtain licensure/endorsement to drive a 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck is preferred but not required.
• Able to lift/move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck to deliver to customers.
• Ensure safe, timely deliveries with high customer service.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT rules.
• Assist with branch warehouse duties as needed.

Job Overview

Duties Include :

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

Schedule:

• 2-3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours per week.
• Possibility of additional hours when filling in for other drivers.
• No weekends.
• No overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24’ box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $23.00/hour.
