Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Sacramento is seeking a part-time delivery driver to load, deliver, and support a branch. Two days per week, up to 29.5 hours, with no weekend work and occasional overnight routes as needed.

Candidate must be able to operate a 20-24’ box truck, obtain a DOT Medical Card, and use GPS for routing. CDL is not required. Starting pay is $23/hour, with on-the-job training and benefits including 401(k) matching and ESOP participation.

• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to use a GPS for delivery routes.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

Duties Include :

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule:

• 2 days per week, up to 29.5 hours per week
• Possibility of additional hours when filling in for other drivers.
• No weekends.
• This branch does require an overnight route, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24’ box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $23.00/hour.
