Job summary

The role requires a BSN, IL RN license, BLS, strong communication, teamwork and analytic skills. ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN.

Qualifications

• BSN required and valid IL RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops an individualized plan, and coordinates care.
• Directs care and utilizes nursing staff appropriately.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and health team members.
• Participates in shared governance and unit projects.
• Documents patient responses and updates care plans as needed.
• Uses current evidence to guide nursing decisions.
