Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent nursing degree required.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• ADN may be acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops and implements an individualized plan, and coordinates care delivery.
• Directs care and utilizes any assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and staff to document and communicate care plans.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts the plan of care based on findings, using evidence to guide practice.
