Job summary

Qualifications
- BSN is required.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
- ADN may be acceptable if a BSN is pursued within three years of employment.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient data, develop and implement a care plan, and evaluate outcomes.
- Direct care and coordinate with assistants involved in patient care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians and staff; document plans focused on outcomes.
- Participate in shared governance and unit projects.
- Evaluate patient responses and adapt care plans based on nursing interventions.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and research to guide care decisions.
