Job summary

New York Edge in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a part-time Data Specialist to handle data entry at the site level for a program. You will assist the Program Director and Data Manager in running reports, tracking data, and highlighting the program's successes and deficits, with up to 20–25 hours per week depending on school sessions.

This in-person role requires strong organizational skills and experience with databases to support reporting and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

College credits or degree preferred.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Docs.
Strong written and verbal communication.
1–2 years of database experience preferred.
Bilingual candidates a plus.

Responsibilities

Enrolling participants into required web-based databases in a timely and accurate manner.
Entering the schedule and labeling activities into required databases.
Set up class rosters and maintain attendance sheets.
Record attendance weekly in all required systems.
Assist the After School Program Director with data reporting.
Create systems to track documents.
Ensure program compliance with stakeholders.
Multitask and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain effective working relationships with program staff.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
Be a role model of responsible and professional conduct.
