Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain the dairy and freezer sections, stock products, rotate stock and ensure food safety. This role supports merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with food safety standards while delivering excellent service to Members.

The Dairy & Freezer Clerk works to keep the department organized and efficient, contributing to the overall success of the perishables team and adhering to company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock all dairy and freezer products according to planograms to maintain visual standards.
• Monitor temperature control and replenish items to ensure freshness and availability.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
• Regularly inspect products for expiration dates and condition, removing damaged items.
