Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to manage stocking, rotation, and product integrity in the dairy and frozen sections. You will support merchandising, inventory control, and adherence to food safety standards while delivering excellent member service.

The role emphasizes accurate replenishment, temperature monitoring, and compliance with departmental procedures, contributing to a well-organized, efficient perishables team and a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in dairy or perishable retail operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of cold chain management and food safety standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock dairy and freezer items according to planograms and maintain product quality.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure cold chain integrity.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and conduct date checks for freshness.
• Maintain proper signage and pricing and assist with seasonal merchandising.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and company policies across the department.
