Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain dairy and freezer sections, ensure proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity while supporting merchandising, inventory control, and food safety compliance. The role emphasizes accurate planograms, fast replenishment, and excellent member service.

This position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, including health plans and a 401(k) style program.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure planogram integrity in dairy and freezer by stocking per company standards.
Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy; monitor temperature and replenish items as needed.
Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and preserve product quality.
Perform regular quality and date checks and remove expired or damaged items.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed in all duties.
Maintain signage and pricing accuracy to avoid member confusion.
Support seasonal merchandising and club-wide initiatives.
