Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain the dairy and freezer sections by ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity to support the perishables team.

In this fast-paced, member-focused role you will monitor cold chain, conduct date checks, and ensure accurate signage and pricing while delivering a premium shopping experience. 1+ year of retail or grocery experience and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, product handling, and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure planogram integrity in dairy and freezer: stock products according to planograms to maintain visual standards.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy by monitoring temperatures and replenishing items.
• Execute proper product rotation using FIFO to reduce waste and maintain quality.
• Conduct quality and date checks to uphold food safety standards.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance, including routine cleaning of coolers and shelves.
• Support product availability by monitoring in-stock levels and replenishing as needed.
• Verify accurate signage and pricing to avoid confusion at checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
