Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customs Entry Writer in Carolina, PR, US to prepare and monitor U.S. customs entries for imported shipments. You will work with the brokerage team to resolve clearance issues and ensure timely release through CBP/PGA processes.

The role requires experience with U.S. Customs entries, CBP Form 3461/7501, and ACE/ABI systems, with a focus on accuracy and SLA adherence. Availability 6-10am ET is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs brokerage or import operations preferred.
• Familiarity with ACE/ABI processing and customs software preferred.
• Strong understanding of HTS classification, origin, duties, and PGA requirements.
• Ability to interpret CBP/ACE messages and monitor release statuses.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shipments and customs status across departure, transit, arrival, and clearance.
• Review documentation for completeness and follow up on missing information.
• Prepare CBP Form 3461/entry release data and CBP Form 7501/Entry Summary.
• Enter data such as importer of record, origin, value, quantity, and other required fields.
• Escalate any compliance concerns or holds to the licensed broker or compliance team.
• Maintain records and communicate status to stakeholders.
