Job summary

Dollar Tree in Streetsboro, OH seeks a Customer Service Associate II to assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to customer support. You will be cross-trained to work the front end and cash register while maintaining a clean, inviting environment.

This role emphasizes friendly customer interactions and safe procedures. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Protect cash and company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
