Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Part Time Flexible Customer Service Associate in the Latham, NY area. You will consult with customers on rentals and maximize revenue by offering additional products and services, while overcoming objections and delivering world-class service.

You will also shuttle customers and ensure vehicles are ready for pickup, including cleaning, damage assessment, fueling and fluid refills. Strong communication and basic office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk, bend/twist, drive, lift, and read.
• Experience with basic office equipment (computer terminal, telephone, calculator, copy and fax machines).

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on their rental and identify revenue opportunities by offering products and services.
• Overcome customer objections and deliver world-class customer service and sales support.
• Assist with shuttling customers and preparing vehicles for pickup, including cleaning, assessing damage, fueling and refilling fluids.

Job description

The Part Time Flexible Customer Service Associate consults with customers on their rental. Maximizing revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services and overcoming customer objections. Ensures that the customer receives world-class customer service and sales support. The responsibilities also include shuttling customers. This position also ensures vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, which includes cleaning vehicles. assessing damage, fueling, and refilling all fluids.

Wage: $19.00/hr

Qualifications:

Strong oral and written communication of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Applicant must possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following such as sitting, standing, waking, bending and twisting, climbing, driving, pushing and pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, seeing, and reading. Knowledge of equipment operation such as computer terminal, telephone, calculator, copy machine, and fax machine is required.
