PostNet Lafayette CO is seeking a friendly, dependable Part-Time Customer Service Associate to join our Lafayette team. You will greet customers, assist with mail and package handling, and process shipments at the counter in a lively, hands-on environment.

Shifts are primarily weekday afternoons with rotating Saturdays; you will work 16–22 hours weekly and receive training on our shipping and mailbox services to help customers choose the best options and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Hours: Approximately 16 to 22 hours per week

About The Position

PostNet is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Part-Time Customer Service Associate to join our Lafayette team. This is a hands‑on position where no two days are the same. Much of your day will be spent assisting customers at the counter, processing shipments, receiving and sorting mail and packages, and assisting our private mailbox customers. Most weekday shifts are 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a rotating Saturday shift from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at least every other Saturday. The number of weekday shifts will vary based on the Saturday rotation. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, pays attention to details, and likes staying busy. Previous shipping experience is helpful but not required. We provide training on our systems and services.

What You Will Do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL
• Help customers select shipping options based on cost, speed, and service needs
• Package customer items for safe shipment
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
• Maintain accurate private mailbox and package records
• Assist mailbox customers with mail and package pickups
• Accept prepaid package drop-offs
• Process customer transactions and payments
• Answer phones and respond to customer questions
• Assist with basic copying, scanning, printing, and document services
• Learn PostNet products and services and recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in retail, customer service, sales, shipping, packaging, mail handling, or a copy center is helpful but not required. Experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, printing, graphic design, or Adobe software is a plus.

Schedule

• Approximately 16 to 22 hours per week
• Weekday shifts primarily 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday shifts 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• At least every other Saturday is required
• Additional hours may occasionally be available

Compensation

$18.00 to $21.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Candidates with relevant experience in retail, shipping, mailbox, print, or customer service may qualify for a higher starting rate.
