Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in the United States is hiring a part-time CSR/Teller to deliver exceptional customer service at our Niles, Illinois location. You will process transactions, protect customer information, and guide customers to bank products that meet their needs in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work with the platform team, maintain accurate records, and refer customers to bankers or partners as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Work involves extensive cash handling.
• Work involves contact with the public; adhere to dress code guidelines.
• Must be able to interact comfortably and confidently with the public.
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures to perform duties.
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making and problem resolution.
• Demonstrate the company’s core values, work as one bank, take accountability, be respectful & inclusive, act with integrity.
• Scheduling flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Deepen relationships and treat customers with genuine care by listening to their needs and guiding them to meet financial needs.
• Provide follow up to customer questions and find solutions to address issues.
• Be responsive and timely with correspondence to keep lines of communication open and clear.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer business.
• Follow Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies.
• Perform daily office responsibilities with the platform team to maintain efficient operations.
• Maintain a balancing record and correct outages as needed.
• Stay up to date on bank policies and procedures.
• Refer customers to Bankers and business partners for consultative conversations when appropriate.
• Build knowledge of Retail products and services offered.
• Utilize tools for referrals and tracking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
