Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You’ll assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

Previous retail or service experience is preferred, and employees must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. The role emphasizes friendly interactions, safety, and teamwork at our Seneca Falls, New York location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
