Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Kingston, NY store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise while maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and reliable teamwork. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits including health, retirement, and education

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and rest areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
