Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist with questions, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and friendly interactions with customers and associates. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and lifting up to 50 lbs is required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and movements.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, bathrooms stocked, floors swept/mopped, and trash managed.
• Other duties as assigned.
