Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Pittsfield is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes excellent service, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Prior retail or customer service experience is highly preferred, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned*.
