Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to create a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a neat, stocked store environment.

The role requires strong customer service skills, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and respectful store environment.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out the trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
