Job summary

The Village of Villa Park is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Weekend Recreation Center Custodian to keep our facilities clean, welcoming, and safe. This part-time, non-exempt role primarily covers Saturdays and Sundays, with up to 20 hours per week and potential extra hours as needed.

You will clean rooms, fitness areas, restrooms, and common spaces; maintain furniture and decor; assist with event setup; and report maintenance needs while following written and verbal instructions with a

• A high school education (or equivalent knowledge)
• Previous custodial experience is great, but we’re also happy to provide training
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong customer service mindset
• Someone who takes safety seriously
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance) and stay active throughout the shift
