Job summary

Chimes DC Brand is seeking a Custodian for Monday-Friday 12:30pm-4:30pm in Washington, DC. The role focuses on cleaning and building services across public and work spaces, following contract specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include restroom and surface disinfection, floor care, and general upkeep. This on-site, part-time position offers consistent hours and a clear path in the facilities team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning and building services in public and work space areas.
• Clean restrooms and disinfect surfaces in public areas.
• Descale showers, toilets, urinals, and maintain cleanliness of kitchens and break rooms.
• Clean walls, windows, doors, and other surfaces per contract specifications.
• Move, arrange and lift heavy items as needed.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training; report on time.
