The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and follow the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisors
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members
• Perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
• Support shift lead with punch-list items and fill in during staff shortages
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Understand and prioritize customer service and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required
• Completion of safety and task training certifications
• Forklift certification may be required
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals, with a willingness to share expertise
• No specific education required; 3-6 months of training or experience preferred

Compensation: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00pm-10:00pm
